Soles United has found a way to recycle AND lend a hand. They coordinate donations of used Crocs , the popular casual foot wear, which are then recycled and given to people in need. Soles United has contributed to victims of Hurricane Katrina, the Wyclef Foundation in Haiti, Dominican Republic, Africa, and more. They are sure to be donating to the people of Myanmar and China soon. This donation program has already sent out I million pairs , and hopes for 2 million this year. Just visit their website, www.SolesUnited.com , enter your zip code on the green ‘find a participating retailer near you’ button, and contact that business to donate your worn-out Crocs . This spring, Sole united is having free concerts at college campuses, featuring Fabulous and One Republic . Donation stations will be ready to collect Crocs on site.
